JonDo Live-CD

The JonDo Live-CD provides a secure and pre-configued environment for surfing anonymously. The CD is based on Debian GNU/Linux. ISO-images are available on the download page ->.

You may use the JonDo live-cd for:

  - testing anonymisation services (JonDonym, Tor or I2P)
  - anonymous surfing, mailing, chatting and blogging
  - anonymous server adminstration
  - for whistleblowing activities

Hardware Requirements

  - i386 compatible prozessor (Intel, AMD64 ...)
  - 1 GB RAM (recommeded)
  - boot from CD-ROM or USB-Stick
  - screen resolution at least 1024x768 (recommeded)

Create a boot CD-ROM or USB Stick

After downloading the ISO-image you can burn it on a CD-ROM or you may prepare a bootable USB stick. An USB stick is much faster than a CD-ROM. To prepare a bootable USB stick you may use the tool UNetbootin (Windows, MacOS and Linux) or LinuxLive USB Creator (only for Windows). You can find a short tutorial for using UNetbootin on the next page ->. With the boot medium you may restart the computer.
